Inside Round Steak in Honey Sauce

Add all
  • honey marinade:

  • 1/4 cup
    (60 mL)

    sesame oil

  • 1/2 cup
    (125 mL)

    liquid honey

  • 2 Tbsp.
    (30 ml)

    balsamic vinegar

  • 2 tsp.
    (10 mL)

    ground ginger

  • 2

    garlic cloves chopped

  • 1 lb
    (450 g)

    inside round steaks

  • 2

    green onions, finely chopped

  • 2 Tbsp.
    (30 mL)

    sesame seeds


Mix all the honey marinade ingredients in a bowl (set aside 1/4 cup (60 ml) for the sauce. Add the steaks and marinate for 2 hours.

Drain well.

In a hot skillet, brown the steaks a few minutes on each side. Set aside on the heat.

Deglaze the skillet with the marinade that had been set aside.

Pour the sauce over the steak. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
