    Italian sausage-stuffed pepper wheels, made fresh in store

  • 4

    thin slices of Irresistibles Parisian baguette

  • 2

    garlic cloves, minced

  • 1/3 cup
    (80 mL)

    Irresistibles extra virgin olive oil

Preparation

Preheat BBQ to medium-high.

Place pepper wheels on the oiled grill over the unlit burner and cook, cover down, over indirect heat for 10-14 minutes

Meanwhile, combine garlic and olive oil in a bowl.

Grill baguette slices and brush with garlic-olive oil mixture.

Top each garlic crostini with a pepper wheel and serve.

Oven Method: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Bake pepper wheels on a parchment-lined baking sheet, without turning them over, for 10-14 minutes.

Meanwhile, combine garlic and olive oil in a bowl.

Toast baguette slices, both sides, in the oven until golden brown. Brush with garlic-olive oil mixture.

Serve pepper wheels on crostini.
