Ingredients

Add all
  • 2 Tbsp.
    (30 mL)

    extra virgin olive oil

  • 4

    hot italian-style sausages, casing removed

  • 2

    cloves garlic, finely chopped

  • 2

    red peppers, seeded and chopped

  • 2 3/4 cups
    (700 mL)

    tomato sauce

  • 1/2 cup
    (125 mL)

    grated Parmesan cheese

  • crushed cayenne pepper to taste

Preparation

In a frying pan, heat oil; cook sausage meat, breaking it up until browned.

Add the rest of the ingredients and simmer over low heat about 20 minutes. Serve.
