Ingredients

Add all
  • 1 Tbsp.
    (15 mL)

    chopped french shallots

  • 1 Tbsp.
    (15 mL)

    butter

  • 1/2 cup
    (125 mL)

    dry white wine

  • 2 Tbsp.
    (30 mL)

    dry vermouth

  • 2/3 cup
    (170 mL)

    beef broth

  • 2 Tbsp.
    (30 mL)

    lemon juice

  • pepper

Preparation

In a medium-size saucepan, lightly brown shallots in butter.

Add wine and vermouth mixture by half. Add beef broth and lemon juice.

Reduce from half and season. Serve.
