Linguine with Clam Sauce

  • 500 g


  • 2 Tbsp.
    (30 mL)

    olive oil

  • 1

    onion finely chopped

  • 1

    garlic clove finely chopped

  • 700 mL

    meatless pasta sauce

  • 1/2 cup
    (125 mL)

    fresh parsley

  • 142 g

    clams drained and rinsed

  • Salt and freshly ground pepper


Cook linguine according to package directions.

Heat oil in a skillet set over medium heat; sauté onion and garlic until tender.

Stir in sauce, parsley and clams; simmer for 5 minutes.

Season to taste with salt and pepper.

Serve sauce over hot linguine.
