Maple Syrup Raisin and Cinnamon French Toast

    eggs

  • 2/3 cup
    (170 mL)

    2% milk

  • 3 Tbsp.
    (45 mL)

    Maple syrup

  • 4 tsp.
    (20 mL)

    butter

  • 4

    slices of raisin and cinnamon bread

Preparation

In a bowl, beat eggs.

In a frying pan, warm milk.

Add maple syrup.

Pour warm milk over eggs, beat lightly.

Dip bread slices in egg mixture.

Set aside on a large plate.

In the same pan, melt 1 tsp (5 mL) of butter.

Brown 1 slice of bread on each side over medium-low heat.

Repeat for other slices.
