Ingredients

Add all
  • 1

    large ripe melon

  • 1/4 cup
    (60 mL)

    port wine

  • 2 Tbsp.
    (30 mL)

    sugar

  • 3/4 cup
    (190 mL)

    cold water

Preparation

Cut melon in two.

Remove seeds and strings.

Using a melon baller, carve out nice round melon balls.

Set aside

In a large bowl, combine port, sugar and water.

Refrigerate about 30 minutes.

Serve well-chilled in dessert cups.
