Milk Chocolate Chips Cookie Bars

Ingredients

Add all
  • 1/2 cup
    (125 mL)

    butter

  • 3/4 cup
    (180 mL)

    granulated sugar

  • 1

    egg

  • 1 tsp.
    (5 mL)

    vanilla extract

  • 1 1/3 cups
    (325 mL)

    all-purpose flour

  • 3/4 cup
    (180 mL)

    graham cracker crumbs

  • 1 tsp.
    (5 mL)

    baking powder

  • 1/4 tsp.
    (1 mL)

    salt

  • 3/4 cup
    (180 g)

    CHIPITS®™ milk chocolate chips

  • 1 cup
    (250 mL)

    marshmallow cream

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).

Grease an 8-inch (2 L) baking pan.

Beat butter and sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy.

Add egg and vanilla; beat well.

Stir flour with graham crumbs, baking powder and salt; add to butter mixture, beating until well combined.

Press half of the dough into the prepared pan.

Scatter chocolate chips over dough and spread marshmallow cream over top.

Scatter bits of remaining dough over marshmallow; carefully press to form and even layer.

Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until lightly browned.

Cool completely on a rack.

Cut into bars.
