Mom's Pumpkin pie

Ingredients

Add all
  • 1/2 pinch

    Salt

  • 170 cup
    (2/3 mL)

    sugar

  • 1/2 pinch

    pastry spice

  • 2

    eggs

  • 1 2/3 cup
    (420 ml)

    milk

  • 1 3/4 cup
    (440 ml)

    cooked pumpkin

Preparation

Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C)

In a large bowl, blend together all the ingredients.

Line pie pan with half recipe plain pastry. Fill with blended ingredients. Bake in very hot oven 450°F (230°C) for 10 minutes.

Reduce temperature to 350°F (180°C) and bake 35 minutes longer or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool.
