Nutty White Chocolate Fondue

Ingredients

Add all
  • 1/3 cup
    (80 mL)

    slivered almonds

  • 1/4 cups
    (60 mL)

    cream 15%

  • 1/2 lb
    (225 g)

    white chocolate, broken into pieces

  • 2 Tbsp.
    (30 mL)

    hazelnut liqueur (frangelico)

  • 1 tsp.
    (5 mL)

    pure vanilla

  • 1/2 cup
    (125 mL)

    miniature marshmallows

Preparation

Preheat oven to broil.

Spread almonds on a cookie sheet and toast about 8-10 minutes. Set aside.

In a saucepan heat cream to just under a boil. Reduce heat to lowest setting, add chocolate and melt, stirring.

Stir in 1/4 cup (60 mL) almonds, hazelnut liqueur, vanilla and marshmallows. Continue cooking until all melted.

Pour fondue into fondue pot and sprinkle with remaining almonds.
