Ingredients

Add all
  • 2/3 cup
    (170 mL)

    vegetable or olive oil

  • juice of 1 lemon

  • 1/3-1/2 cup
    (80-125 ml)

    pine nuts, lightly toasted

  • 3

    garlic cloves

  • 1/2 cup
    (125 mL)

    fresh basil, leaves only

  • 1 tsp.
    (5 mL)

    freshly ground black pepper

Preparation

In a food processor, purée all ingredients together. Add a bit of extra oil or lemon juice to taste. Marinade should be more liquid than regular pesto sauce. Refrigerate.
