Ingredients

Add all
  • 1 lb
    (450 g)

    potatoes, cooked and mashed

  • 5 oz
    (150 g)

    old cheddar, shredded

  • 1

    egg

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Sufficient quantity, butter

Preparation

In a bowl, combine mashed potatoes, egg and cheddar. Season with salt and pepper. Shape into thick cakes.

Melt butter in a frying pan over medium heat, and cook pancakes 4 - 5 minutes per side until browned.
