Ingredients

Add all
  • 2 cups
    (500 mL)

    chickpeas, soaked and cooked

  • 3 Tbsp.
    (45 mL)

    water

  • 1/4 cup
    (60 mL)

    lemon juice

  • 1 to 2

    cloves garlic

  • 1/3 cup
    (80 mL)

    plain yoghurt

  • 1/2 tsp.
    (3 mL)

    sunflower oil

  • 2 tsp.
    (10 mL)

    table salt

  • 1 Tbsp.
    (15 mL)

    fresh chopped parsley

  • 1 tsp.
    (5 mL)

    sesame seeds, optional

Preparation

Run all ingredients gradually through the blender until puréed.

Pour in a serving dish and garnish with fresh parsley.

Serve hot or cold with bread or crackers.
