Quick Maple Syrup Pie

Ingredients

Add all
  • 1/4 cup
    (60 mL)

    cornstarch

  • 1/4 cup
    (60 mL)

    cold water

  • 1 1/2 cup
    (375 mL)

    Maple syrup

  • 1 cup
    (250 mL)

    35% cream

  • 1/3 cup
    (80 mL)

    chopped walnuts

  • 1

    unbaked pie shell

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 400°F / 200°C.

In a bowl, dilute cornstarch in cold water.

In a pan, put all filling ingredients. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly and remove from heat.

Add nut, mix well and pour filling into pie shell.

Bake at 400°F / 200°C 15 to 20 minutes.
