Raisin French Toast

Ingredients

Add all
  • 4 to 6

    slices of sun maid raisin bread, plain or lightly toasted

  • 1 1/2 cup
    (375 mL)

    2% milk

  • 2

    eggs

  • 2 Tbsp.
    (30 mL)

    Maple syrup

  • 2

    dashes of nutmeg

  • Adequate quantity orange segments or cantaloupe slices

Preparation

In a mixing bowl, blend the milk, eggs and nutmeg.

Dip the slices of Raisin Bread in the egg mixture.

Using a non-stick fry pan, cook over medium heat in a little butter. Remove when golden brown.

Serve hot with maple syrup and fruit slices.
