    fresh asparagus, blanched and cut in three

  • 1/2 cup
    (125 mL)

    creamy caesar dressing

  • 4

    european sausages, any variety

  • 1 cup
    (250 mL)

    tzatziki sauce

  • 2 cups
    (500 mL)

    vegetable sprouts (corn, radish, bean, etc)

  • 4

    large pitas

  • 2

    fresh tomatoes, cubed

  • 2 cups
    (500 mL)

    shredded leaf lettuce

  • 4

    large strips commercial pickled peppers (optional)


In a bowl, combine asparagus and Caesar dressing. Set aside.

Preheat barbecue to medium.

In a pot of boiling water, blanch Tour Eiffel European sausages 3 min.

Cool sausages and slice in two lengthways.

Grill sausages on the barbecue for a few minutes.

Set out grilled sausages, tzatziki sauce, dressed asparagus, vegetable sprouts and pitas in the centre of the table.

Set out tomatoes, shredded lettuce and pickled peppers.

People can make up their sandwiches to their taste.
