Scalloped Potatoes

Add all
  • 1/2*5 lb

    potatoes, peeled and sliced thin

  • 3/4 cup
    (190 mL)

    cream 15%

  • 2

    garlic cloves, chopped

  • 1/3 cup
    (80 mL)

    grated fresh Parmesan

  • 2 Tbsp.
    (30 mL)

    chopped fresh parsley

  • salt and milled pepper to taste

  • 1 Tbsp.
    (15 mL)


  • 1 Tbsp.
    (15 mL)

    vegetable oil


Preheat oven to 400°F/200°C.

Bring a pot of water to boil. Add sliced potatoes and cook 10 min. Drain and set aside.

In a bowl, mix cream, garlic, cheese, parsley, salt and pepper together.

Grease an 8x12-in. (20x30-cm) casserole with butter and oil.

Arrange potato slices in layers, adding cream mixture.

Bake 20-25 min. or until potatoes are golden brown. Put under the broiler if necessary.
