    whole wheat bagel, cut in 2

  • 2 Tbsp.
    (30 mL)

    cream cheese

  • smoked trout to taste

  • 4

    slices of red onion

  • 1/2 tsp.
    (2 mL)

    olive oil

  • 1/2 tsp.
    (2 mL)

    lemon juice

  • 4-5


  • Sufficient quantity of capers


Spread cream cheese on the bagel slices.

Place the slices of smoked trout and onion on one slice of the bagel.

Pour the olive oil and lemon juice very slowly.

Place a few fresh basil leaves on the bagel.

Garnish with capers.

Close the sandwich with the other half of the bagel.
