Snow Peas Salad and Red Wine Vinegar

Add all
  • Vinaigrette

  • 1

    onion, chopped

  • 0.500

    lime, juice

  • 2 Tbsp.
    (30 mL)

    red wine vinegar

  • 1 tsp.
    (5 mL)

    liquid honey

  • 2 Tbsp.
    (30 mL)

    olive oil

  • 1

    garlic clove, chopped

  • 1 Tbsp.
    (15 mL)

    fresh basil

  • black pepper to taste

  • 1/3 cup
    (80 mL)

    whole almonds, chopped

  • 1 lb
    (500 g)

    snow peas, washed


In a saucepan, mix the onion, lime juice, vinegar and honey.

Add the oil, garlic, basil and pepper, and beat. Incorporate the almonds.

Blanch the snow peas for 1 minute; drain, put through cold water, pat dry.

In a bowl, place the snow peas. Add the vinaigrette.
