    small onion finely chopped

  • 2 Tbsp.
    (30 mL)

    lime juice

  • 2 Tbsp.
    (30 mL)

    red wine vinegar

  • 1 tsp.
    (5 mL)

    merit selection liquid honey

  • 1/4 cup
    (60 mL)

    merit selection olive oil

  • 1 Tbsp.
    (15 mL)

    fresh chopped basil

  • ground black pepper to taste

  • 1 lb
    (450 g)

    snow peas, trimmed


In a pan, put onion, lime juice, wine vinegar and honey; simmer covered 2 to 3 minutes.

remove from heat; cool slightly.

Add oil, basil and pepper; whisk.

Put snow peas in a steamer basket; blanch 1 minute.

In a bowl, combine snow peas with dressing.
