Ingredients

Add all
  • 2 1/2 cups
    (635 mL)

    bran flakes cereal

  • 1 1/2 cup
    (375 mL)

    milk

  • 2/3 cup
    (170 mL)

    melted margarine

  • 1

    eggs beaten

  • 1 1/4 cup
    (315 mL)

    all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 cup
    (125 mL)

    sugar

  • 1 Tbsp.
    (15 mL)

    baking powder

  • 1/4 cup
    (60 mL)

    strawberry jam

Preparation

Preheat oven to 400°F / 200°C.

In a bowl, mix cereal, milk, margarine and egg. Let stand 2 minutes.

In another bowl, mix flour, sugar and baking powder. Add to cereal mixture, stirring just enough to moisten.

Fill non-stick muffin tins to 2/3 full.

Make a hole in the batter with the handle of a wooden spoon and fill with 5 mL (1 tsp.) jam.
