Add all
  • 1/2 cup
    (125 mL)

    raw unsalted sunflower seeds

  • 1/2 cup
    (125 mL)


  • 1 tsp.
    (5 mL)

    extract vanilla

  • 1/2 cup
    (125 mL)

    toasted wheat germ

  • extra wheat germ


Grind 1 cup (250 mL) sunflower seeds in the blender. Set aside.

In an ungreased frying pan, over high heat, lightly toast the rest of the seeds, stirring constantly.

Add the ground and toasted seeds to the rest of the ingredients.Add to seeds.

Shape the mixture into small ball the size of a nut, then roll in wheat germ.

Store in a covered container in the refrigerator.
