    stuffed turkey roast

  • 2 Tbsp.
    (30 mL)

    soya sauce

  • 1 Tbsp.
    (15 mL)

    soya oil

  • 1

    garlic clove, crushed

  • 2 tsp.
    (10 mL)

    ginger, grated

  • 1/2 tsp.
    (2 mL)

    sesame oil

  • 1/2 cup
    (125 mL)

    orange juice

  • 1 tsp.
    (5 mL)


  • 1 Tbsp.
    (15 mL)

    thai basil, chopped

  • ground pepper to taste


Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).

Mix the soya sauce, soya oil, sesame oil, garlic and ginger. Bush the roast with this mixture.

Place the roast in an ovenware pan and cook about 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 175°F (77°C) on the thermometer.

Remove from the pan, cover with aluminum foil and let stand 15 minutes. Deglaze the pan with the orange juice, add the sugar, reduce the sauce a little and add pepper to taste. Add the Thai basil at the end.
