Turkey Breast with Mushroom Sauce

    turkey breasts

  • 3 Tbsp.
    (45 mL)

    melted butter

  • 1 cup
    (250 mL)

    sliced mushrooms

  • 2/3 cup
    (170 mL)

    10% cream

  • 1/2 cup
    (125 mL)

    white wine

  • 2 tsp.
    (10 mL)

    corn starch

  • 2 tsp.
    (10 mL)



Put the turkey breasts in an oven dish.

In a pan, melt butter; brown the sliced mushrooms.

Add white wine; simmer 2 minutes.

Add cream and continue cooking about 3 minutes.

In a bowl, dissolve cornstarch in water; stir into the sauce.

Pour mushroom sauce over the turkey breasts.

Cook in preheated 350°F (180°C) oven 20 to 25 minutes.
