Ingredients

Add all
  • 19 oz
    (540 mL)

    can chick peas

  • 1

    onion, minced

  • 1

    celery stalk, chopped

  • 1

    egg, beaten

  • 1/4 cup
    (60 mL)

    oats

  • 1/4 tsp.
    (1 mL)

    garlic powder

  • 1 tsp.
    (5 mL)

    chopped parsley

  • 1/2 tsp.
    (2 mL)

    chopped basil

  • 1/2 tsp.
    (2 mL)

    Worcestershire sauce

  • pepper, salt or salt substitute to taste

  • 1 cup
    (250 mL)

    shredded cheese (20% m.f. or less)

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).

Purée ingredients together in a food processor.

Transfer to a greased loaf pan.

Bake 45 minutes.

Cool before slicing.
