Warm Apple Pork Salad

Ingredients

Add all
  • 1 lb
    (450 g)

    pork strips

  • 2 cups
    (500 mL)

    bean sprouts

  • 1 cup
    (250 mL)

    chinese lettuce (nappa cabbage), minced

  • 1

    red pepper, julienned

  • 4

    red apples, minced

  • 1/2 cup
    (125 mL)

    cashews

  • 1/4 cup
    (60 mL)

    herb dressing

Preparation

In a frying pan, sear pork strips on each side in a butter/oil blend.

Add bean sprouts and cook 1 minute more.

In a salad bowl, add remaining ingredients and add pork mix.

Add dressing and mix well.

Cover and let stand in the refrigerator 15 minutes before serving.
