Warm Citrus Fruit Salad

Ingredients

  • 2

    oranges

  • 1

    lime

  • 1

    pink grapefruit

  • 1

    white grapefruit

  • 2

    clementines or peaches

  • 1/4 cup
    (60 mL)

    sugar

  • 1

    piece of 1 po. (1 piece of 2.5 cm) gingerroot peeled and thinly sliced

  • 1/4 cup
    (60 mL)

    cold water

  • shredded parmesan or emmental to taste

Preparation

grate the zest of orange and lime.

Cut all the fruit in sections.

Bring to a boil sugar, ginger and cold water, stirring constantly.

Add fruit zest and sections to the syrup; remove from heat; serve immediately.

Serve over cress or grated carrots.
