    slices of nut bread

  • 4

    fresh figs sliced

  • 1 lb
    (454 g)

    Le Péribonka cheese cut into 1/4 in. (5 mm) thick slices

  • 4 leaves

    boston lettuce


Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C).

Butter one side of each slice of bread.

Lay figs on buttered bread.

Top with cheese and a second slice of bread.

Bake for 5 minutes or until cheese is melted and bread toasted golden brown.

Open sandwiches and add lettuce.
