Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. If you purchased multiple qualifying fresh products and aren’t satisfied with their freshness, you may return them together, providing each item meets the requirements (product + receipt, within 3 days, not consumed, not expired).
No. The Freshness Guarantee does not apply to products purchased through Uber Eats, Instacart, DoorDash, or SkipTheDishes, including Metro.ca orders assembled and delivered by these external partners.
Returned products must not have exceeded their expiration date to qualify for the guarantee. If the item is past its expiry date, it may not be eligible.
No. The Freshness Guarantee is not redeemable for cash.
Items from Starbucks, Pharmacies, Metro Garden Centres and the Too Good to Go app are explicitly excluded from the Metro Freshness Guarantee.
The guarantee cannot be combined with other offers or discounts related to the same product. If an item received a reduced price sticker or percentage off promotion, it may be excluded.
