In a saucepan, combine strawberries and maple syrup.Cover and bring to a boil.Reduce heat to low and cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.Add balsamic vinegar and long pepper, and cook uncovered for 5 minutes.Remove from heat and cool 10 minutes before adding mint.Serve over vanilla ice cream, ice yogurt or white cake.

    maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup
    (60 mL)
    Irresistibles balsamic vinegar

Preparation
