In a wok or a large high-sided frying pan, heat the oil on moderate heat and brown the ginger 1 minute.
Add the beef and sautee 3 minutes. Set aside.
Put the brocoli flowerets and the water in the wok. Cover and cook 2 to 3 minutes.
Add the water chestnuts and green onion. Cook 2 to 3 minutes.
In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, cornstarch and honey. Add to the wok.
Bring to a boil and stir 2 minutes or until thickened.
Put the beef back in the wok. Heat and serve immediately.
Serve with rice.
