Tapenade Purée Crush garlic cloves. Use a pestle and mortar or fork to crush olives, anchovies, garlic and capers. Add pepper. Drizzle olive oil. Blend well to obtain a smooth paste. Add lemon juice. Preheat oven to 350°F/180°C. Spread 1/4 cup (60 mL) of tapenade purée on the short crust pastry. Cut goat cheese in rounds. Place the cheese on the tapenade. Garnish with slices of tomatoes. Drizzle a little olive oil on tomatoes. Bake in the oven about 30 minutes.
