In a mixing bowl, beat egg whites until firm.
Gradually add brown sugar and continue beating until firm peaks appear.
Gently fold in rest of ingredients using a spatula.
Drop tablespoons (15 mL) of dough 1 inch (2.5 cm) apart on baking sheet covered whit waxed paper or parchment paper.
Bake in preheated oven to 350°F (180°C) on lower rack for about 15 minutes.
Let cool before removing cookies from pan.
