Preheat barbecue to high.
Lemon-garlic mayonnaise: in a bowl, combine enough mayonnaise for 4 buns with 1/2 tsp. (2 mL) finely grated lemon peel and 1 finely minced clove of garlic.
Brown sausages both sides on an oiled grill then cook another 12 - 15 minutes over indirect heat.
When fish is almost done, toast outsides of ciabatta buns.
Spread ciabatta buns with lemon-garlic mayonnaise, add greens, sliced avocado and dill.
Lay fish sausage over the vegetables and close the sandwich.
