Combine oil, sliced onion, onion soup mix and 3/4 cups (180 ml) water in a medium saucepan. Set over low heat for 35-40 minutes until onions are translucent and jammy. Transfer to a large bowl and let cool 10 minutes.Add yogurt, swiss cheese, parmesan, thyme, Worcestershire, pepper, and garlic powder. Stir to combine; keep chilled until ready to serve.Garnish with thyme and serve with crackers, pita chips, and/or crudité.
