In a microwave, heat the milk for 2 minutes. Add the oatmeal, banana, brown sugar or honey and the cinnamon. Heat for 2 minutes. Add the cereal and mix well. Let stand for 1-2 minutes to let the cereal absorb the extra liquid. "Oatmeal is a type of carbohydrate that is absorbed slowly. It therefore offers more long-term energy than commercial cereal or white bread. By adding All-Bran-type cereal, you add fibre, which prolongs the feeling of being full."
