Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).Thaw puff pastry dough. Set aside.Blanch spinach 5 seconds in boiling water.Rinse under cold water, squeeze water out. Set aside.Place ham in centre of each sheet of dough.Top ham with spinach.Sprinkle with grated Swiss cheese.Rub a little water around edges of dough.Fold dough over to make turnovers.Put turnovers on a cookie sheet.Beat egg with milk and brush turnovers with egg wash.Bake about 20 minutes.

    (180 g)
    fresh young spinach
  • 14 oz
    (400 g)
    maple-cured ham, sliced thin
  • 14 oz
    (400 g)
    Canadian Swiss cheese, grated
  • 1
    egg
  • 1/4 cup
    (60 mL)
    milk

Preparation
