Preheat oven to 375°F / 190°C.
In a bowl, mash avocado with lemon juice. Season to taste.
Spread each slice of bread with mashed avocado, top with 2 slices of ham, 2 slices of tomato, some sliced olives and 1 slice of Provolone.
Place open-faced sandwiches on a baking sheet and bake 8 minutes or until cheese begins to melt, then broil 2 minutes.
