In a frying pan, melt butter over medium heat; break eggs separately. Using a spatula, break the yolk and mix slightly with the white. When eggs are almost cooked, flip and cook a few seconds more. Put each cooked egg on one English muffin half, top with a slice of smoked ham and cheese. Top with the other English muffin half. Serve.
