In a bowl, mix beef, egg, walnuts, garlic, onion, parsley, turmeric and cinnamon together. Salt and pepper to taste. Make some 20 meatballs, about 1 in. (2.5 cm) in diameter. In a covered skillet, heat oil and brown meatballs over high heat for 7-10 min. Drain on paper towels and set aside. In a bowl, mix sour cream, chives, salt and pepper together. Serve meatballs with sour cream accompanied by egg noodles and asparagus.
