Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease an 8-in. (20-cm) square pan. Combine ingredients in the order listed. Pour batter into pan and bake for about 30 minutes. Cut into 16 bars while still warm. Cool and sample. Freeze remaining bars, if any.
