In a blender, combine ingredients except salmon steaks. Process until well blended. Place salmon in a shallow non-metallic baking dish; pour marinade over salmon turning to coat. Refrigerate 2-3 hours, turning occasionally. Remove salmon from marinade. Grill, broil or bake salmon until cooked through. As a guideline, cook fish to an internal temperature of at least, 175°F / 80°C.
