Preheat barbecue to medium.In a bowl, mix veal, egg, pine nuts, ginger, balsamic vinegar, parsley, salt and pepper together.Make 4 large balls. Flatten into patties.Place patties on the grill and cook until inside shows no pink.Meanwhile, toast buns on the grill.One minute before end of cooking time, place a slice of havarti on each patty.Slip patties into buns and garnish to taste (lettuce, mayonnaise, mustard).
