Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).In a saucepan, bring port caramel ingredients to a boil on high heat and reduce by three-quarters.Remove the figs and shallots, strain the remaining syrup and set aside.Place the small cheese wheel on a baking sheet and heat for 5 to 7 minutes.Garnish the warm cheese with the fig and shallot mixture and serve with the port caramel.

Preparation
