Remove crusts from bread, if desired. Spread Cream Cheese evenly on half the bread slices; top with remaining slices. Whisk together eggs, milk and vanilla and pour mixture into a shallow dish. Dip each sandwich in egg mixture, turning over to cover evenly. Heat a bit of butter in non-stick frying pan and fry sandwiches over medium-low heat for 2 1/2 to 3 minutesutes per side or until golden brown. Add butter to the frying pan as needed. Sprinkle with icing sugar, cut and serve with mixed berries and maple syrup. Variation
