Cook gnocchi according to package instructions. Set aside.In a skillet, melt 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) butter and brown pancetta; drain on paper towels and set aside. Drain fat from skillet.In the same skillet, melt remaining butter and cook garlic. Add cream and 1/2 cup (125 mL) of cheese and cook until cheese begins to melt.Add gnocchi and stir thoroughly. Cook 2 minutes more.Just before serving, add pancetta and remaining cheese to gnocchi.

    grated parmigiano reggiano

  • pepper to taste
