Cook sausages 5 minutes in a pot of boiling waters. Drain and cut sausages into 1-in. (2.5-cm) long pieces. Thread pieces onto 4 skewers, alternating with vegetables and pineapple.
In a glass casserole, combine orange juice with rum, garlic and cinnamon stick. Add brochettes and refrigerate for 45 minutes.
Preheat barbecue to medium.
Put brochettes on oiled barbecue rack and cook 6-8 minutes. Brush with marinade during cooking.
