Peel and core the pears.
Slice in sections.
Put in a pan with the pineapple chunks and cinnamon.
Add the juice and grated zest of lime, sugar, star anise and grapes.
Bring to a boil, then lower heat and cook gently 20 minutes.
Remove from heat, remove the cinnamon stick and pack into jars.
