In a bowl, marinate cubed ham in 2 oz. (65 mL) whiskey and honey for some 15 minutes. Melt butter in a skillet over medium-high heat, and brown marinated cubes. Deglaze with leftover marinade. Season with pepper and adjust salt if necessary. Turn off the heat and add remaining whiskey. Keep in a baking dish in a warm oven. In the same skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add garlic, then chard. Sauté over high heat for a few minutes. Season with salt and pepper and serve immediately with ham.
