Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).Cut an X on the corms and place them on a baking sheet.Brush with olive oil and bake for 8 - 10 minutes.Prick with a knife to test doneness.Open taro corms along the cuts. Season to taste and top with shredded cheese.Tip: Taro tastes somewhat like potatoes and can be cooked the same way.

Preparation
